Step 1: Needle Shot Mode - Arc-Poration®
The first step is designed to make the outer layers of the skin more receptive and permeable by using gentle ablation, without damaging the skin. Gentle warmth also supports the skin’s natural regeneration process. Use this mode on clean, dry skin. Do not apply any skincare products beforehand. We recommend using this mode no more than twice a week.
What is Arc-Poration®?
In simple terms, this technology can be compared to microneedling that works only on the surface of the skin - without the risks, pain, or the use of fine needles that penetrate and damage the skin. The technology is based on what is known as “breakdown voltage,” which is essential for arc discharge. By precisely balancing voltage and frequency, it ensures that microchannels are created exclusively in the skin’s outermost layer (the stratum corneum).
How does Arc-Poration® work on the skin?
The mechanism of action is based on the delivery of short pulses of high voltage to the skin’s surface. This electrical energy is converted into thermal energy, creating tiny thermal points (micro-openings). A slight, briefly noticeable scent may occur during use, caused by heat development. This is normal and indicates that the device is operating correctly.
Step 2: Wrapping Shot Mode – Electroporation
Using advanced electroporation technology, the second step helps to increase the skin’s permeability, encouraging deeper absorption of skincare products and the active ingredients they contain.
What is electroporation?
Electroporation is a biotechnological method used to increase the permeability of the cell membrane. It uses small electrical impulses to create tiny “pores” that act as temporary pathways. Once the electrical impulses stop, these micro-openings close again.
What are the benefits of electroporation in skincare?
Electroporation enables optimal and deeper absorption of active ingredients, which can lead to faster and more intensive results. Depending on your skin's individual needs and the active ingredients used, the following effects may be achieved: wrinkle reduction, improved skin texture and increased skin elasticity. The skin is hydrated and the skin barrier reinforced. It is even possible to reduce blemishes, lighten dark spots and generally improve the appearance of the skin.
Step 3: Wrinkle Shot Mode - Microcurrent
The third and final function, Wrinkle Shot Mode, supports skin regeneration. Age-related processes that slow down over time (such as the skin’s own collagen and elastin production) are stimulated. The skin appears firmer.
What is microcurrent?
Microcurrent is a form of electrotherapy that uses very gentle, barely perceptible electrical currents. These are intended to activate the body’s natural self-repair mechanisms and stimulate processes within the skin.
What are the benefits of microcurrent in skincare?
Microcurrent therapy can stimulate cell function and cell renewal. This helps to activate the skin’s natural repair and regeneration mechanisms and supports the production of collagen and elastin. Blood circulation may be improved, allowing skin cells to be better supplied with oxygen and nutrients while inflammation can be reduced. Facial contours appear firmer and more defined. Possible results include reduced wrinkles, refined pores, a natural glow and an overall improvement in the appearance of the skin.

FAQ
Which skincare products achieve the best results when used with SkinFusion II?
SkinFusion II can generally be used with your regular skincare products. The innovative beauty device has been developed and tested for use with a wide range of cosmetic formulations. However, richer, lipid-based products generally work better for the gliding phases of steps 2 and 3 – Wrapping Shot Mode and Wrinkle Shot Mode – and are therefore more suitable than products that absorb very quickly.
That said, there is no single “best” skincare product to use with SkinFusion II. Results depend not only on the formulation itself, but also on individual factors such as changing skin needs and seasonal influences.
That’s why we recommend a selection of our favorite products that you can easily incorporate into your existing skincare routine.
For step 2 – Wrapping Shot Mode – we particularly recommend using one of the following products to ensure long-lasting glide:

For step 3 – Wrinkle Shot Mode – we recommend using either the Hydro Lipid Cream Mask or the smoothing Hydro Lift Express Sheet Mask.
If you prefer not to use a mask, you can alternatively apply the nourishing Caviar Anti-Aging Ampoule or a rich facial cream for this step.
Always remember: products with a higher lipid content improve and prolong the glide of SkinFusion II, helping it work more effectively.
When will I start to see results?
As with most skincare treatments, there’s no one-size-fits-all answer, as results depend on several factors. These include your current skin condition, your routine and how often you use the SkinFusion II device. Lifestyle, age, genetics and external factors also play a role. Depending on your individual skin renewal cycle, you will usually start to see visible results after 4 to 6 weeks.
Can it be used on all skin types?
Yes, SkinFusion II is suitable for all skin types. Exceptions include inflammatory skin conditions such as rosacea or acne. If you experience any irritation or unusual symptoms, we recommend pausing use. Do not use during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or after surgery. Full details on contraindications can be found in the user manual.
Will I still see results if I don’t use the device every day?
Yes! Of course, it always depends on the condition of your skin and your overall skincare routine. Generally speaking, the more regularly and consistently you use the device, the more noticeable the results are likely to be. That said, outcomes can vary from person to person. Use the device in a way that fits your skin and your lifestyle best, so you can maintain your routine long term. Please remember to use Needle Shot Mode no more than twice a week.
Are there any types of products that should not be used with SkinFusion II?
Products containing UV filters, such as sunscreen or day creams with SPF, should not be used with SkinFusion II but applied after the treatment. The same applies to rinse-off products that need to be washed off, such as cleansers, exfoliants and setting masks. These should always be used before using SkinFusion II.
Can the HIGH CONCENTRATES be used with SkinFusion II?
Absolutely – the HIGH CONCENTRATES can be used with SkinFusion II. Please keep in mind that using them together with the device may intensify their effects. When using highly concentrated actives, start slowly and listen to your skin.
The device doesn’t glide easily over the skin. What can I do?
Always apply your skincare product to one side of your face first and treat that side with the device before moving on to the other side. This helps ensure the product doesn’t absorb too quickly before you reach the second side.
My skin looks red after using Needle Shot Mode. Is that a problem?
No. During Needle Shot Mode, the outermost layer of the skin is gently perforated – similar to microneedling, but much more gently. This can sometimes cause mild irritation. The warming effect can also contribute to temporary redness. In most cases, the redness fades shortly after treatment.
There is a strange smell during Needle Shot Mode. Is that normal?
Yes, this is normal. Arc-Poration® technology works using what is known as breakdown voltage to gently create micro-openings in the skin. During this process, tiny, flash-like discharges can occur, which may cause the noticeable scent mentioned above.
Can I use the device after having filler or Botox injections?
Yes, you can use the device in these cases. However, please wait 6–8 weeks after your treatment before starting with SkinFusion II. If you have any concerns, we recommend speaking with your doctor. Please note that Wrapping Shot Mode and Wrinkle Shot Mode may lead to a faster breakdown of botulinum toxin due to the stimulated muscle activity.
Is the treatment painful?
No, the treatment is not painful. However, you may feel a slight tingling, twitching, pulsing or prickling sensation. These sensations are caused by the electrical energy of the three modes and indicate that the device is working and that your skin is responding properly. Adjust the intensity of each mode according to your comfort level.
Can I use the device if I have a metal allergy?
If you have a metal allergy (such as nickel), we recommend that you do not use the device.
How do I clean the device?
After each use, wipe the treatment heads with a soft cloth, cotton pad or cotton swab lightly moistened with a disinfectant solution. Do not clean under running water.
Is Arc-Poration® similar to microneedling?
Traditional microneedling treatments use fine needles to work invasively and reach deeper layers of the skin, deliberately creating micro-injuries. Arc-Poration® offers a gentle and safe alternative that does not affect deeper layers of the skin and avoids risks such as infections or long-lasting redness.
The needle-free Arc-Poration® roller was specifically developed for facial use. It allows fine micro-channels to form while simultaneously supporting the skin’s natural regeneration – comfortably, safely and effectively. Electrodes integrated into the roller continuously emit Arc-Poration® impulses upon contact with the skin. This design ensures an even and efficient application and makes the roller an intuitive, user-friendly tool for professional-level skincare treatments.
It is not recommended to combine traditional microneedling with Arc-Poration®. Steps 2 and 3 of the SkinFusion II treatment can be used after a classic microneedling treatment. For step 1 – Arc-Poration® – allow at least 5 to 7 days before resuming use, depending on how your skin feels.
The device switches off after more than 5 minutes of use. What can I do?
Each mode is intentionally limited to the recommended maximum usage time of 5 minutes. If this time is exceeded, the device automatically switches off. If a mode stops, you can simply restart it or move on to the next one. Please note: even if you switch to the next mode before using the full 5 minutes, the timer will still reset and start again from the beginning.

Use no more than twice a week for up to 5 minutes.
1. Clean your face
2. Dry your face thoroughly. Do not apply any skincare products yet.
3. Open the cap of the microchannel roller.
4. Switch on the device. Needle Shot Mode will start at intensity level 1. To adjust the intensity, press the level button.
5. Glide the microchannel roller smoothly over the skin without applying pressure. Avoid the hairline, eyebrows, eye area and lips.
6. When treating the neck, avoid using the device directly over the larynx (Adam’s apple).
If there is water or skincare product on your face, the microscopic light arcs may not form properly. Make sure your skin is completely dry before starting the treatment with the microchannel roller.
Step 2: Wrapping Shot Mode – Electroporation

Use no more than twice a day for up to 5 minutes.
1. Open the cap on the contact head side.
2. Press the power/mode button again to switch to Wrapping Shot Mode. It starts at intensity level 1. To adjust the intensity, press the level button.
3. Apply a sufficient amount of the first skincare product to the area of the face you want to treat.
4. Keep the contact head in close contact with the skin and glide it evenly over the face in sweeping motions for up to 5 minutes, as shown in the illustration. You can adjust the treatment time depending on how well the product is absorbed.
5. When treating the neck, avoid using the device directly over the larynx (Adam’s apple).
Step 3: Wrinkle Shot Mode – Microcurrent
Use no more than twice a day for up to 5 minutes.
1. Continue using the contact head side of the device.
2. Press the power/mode button again to switch to Wrinkle Shot Mode. It starts at intensity level 1. To adjust the intensity, press the level button.
3. Apply a sufficient amount of the second skincare product to the area of the face you want to treat.
4. Place the contact head on the skin and glide it slowly over the face for up to 5 minutes, as shown in the illustration. You can adjust the treatment time depending on how well the product is absorbed.
5. When treating the neck, avoid using the device directly over the larynx (Adam’s apple).
If too little product is applied or the skin lacks oil or moisture, the device may not glide smoothly. Apply a sufficient amount of product to create optimal conditions for the treatment.
TIP: Always apply your skincare product to one half of the face first and treat that side with SkinFusion II before moving on. This prevents the product from being absorbed before you start the treatment.
